The Lava Surfer
Zan is a warrior from a martial race of stonefolk. His aggressive nature is readily apparent from the tattoos on his clean-shaven head. He's a dangerous thrill-seeker who loves to spend his time off surfing lava flows. Few women can resist the male pheromones emitted by this wild stoneman.
The Resplendent
Zan's desire for aesthetic beauty in combat knows no bounds. He is now obsessed with winning battles even more beautifully than before.
The EM Surfer
Zan's surfing techniques know no bounds. True to his claim "There's no wave I can't ride," he adeptly rides even electromagnetic waves on a surfboard modified with a special device and nanoskin technology. In other words, he can fly as though surfing through the air!
After Chapter 16
Zan had a reason for living on the edge: he never felt more alive than when his life was in peril.
"Life should always be lived in the moment."
He said this often. It was a way of living that boosted his life energy to unheard of levels. And that was the secret to his exuberant vitality--a sharp contrast to most stonefolk, who languished in weakness.
With Daiana
"Mom?"
That single word from Zan caused quite a stir among your party. It seems the warmth and grace that Daiana exuded had kindled something deep inside of him.
"I am NOT your mother," Daiana replied. "And if you truly are a man, I suggest you act with a little more dignity."
But that was the worst way she could have responded, for this stern attitude only reminded him that much more of his mother and strengthened his longing for his homeland. Perhaps it was how he constantly lived life on the edge that intensified his desire for a place to call home.
