Story[]
The Captive Golem[]
People had long avoided the creature,
but they came to a consensus to banish
him once and for all.
And so they did. Casting him into darkness,
they sealed him away with a mystical barrier.
Untold ages passed.
The Captive Golem II[]
A cavern, long forgotten, stands beside
the ruins of a city long dead.
The ancient city flourished for a hundred
years--and then it was gone.
They should have avoided the creature.
Instead, they mobilized a hundred years
of collective wisdom to consign him to
oblivion.
And the following year, their glorious
city fell.
The Captive Golem III[]
Though the creature had shed tears for
humanity, not a single solitary soul shed
tears for him.
Both sides had merely acted on good
intentions. Unable to communicate with
words, however, they never understood
each other.
It was as simple as that.
The Captive Golem Ⅳ[]

Trivia[]
- Version 4.1.0 changes in The Captive Golem IV:
- Stamina requirement reduced from 50 to 40.
- Difficulty reduced from 80 to 65.
- Bomb damage multiplier for Golem of Destruction (Boss) and Golem's Core increased from x6 to x10, making bombs more effective against them.
- All monsters have lower HP and DEF. Golem of Destruction (Boss) also have lower ATK, MATK, and MDEF.
