The Sage
Sorman is an ancient sage who has lived far longer than any mortal man, for he has the power to absorb the life energy that is all around him. But to attain such power, he had to devote his life to a hellish regimen of aesthetic training.
The Shaman
Sorman is farseeing and serene of mind. He can always be seen praying, but to what or for what no one knows. Each day he sways this way and that, like a willow in the wind, praying and praying to something unseen.
The Seraph
Sorman always has a warm smile upon his face. This, along with his avoidance of taking lives in combat has resulted in him being known as an angel incarnate.
After Chapter 30
Though your party was swept up in the chaos of a war unprecedented in scope and violence, Sorman once again managed to survive. Perhaps most beings seek to live an eternity if they may, but not he, for all his former comrades had died, and you and the rest of the party he was now traveling with would eventually die, too, long before he would.
Sorman had learned the price for defying death in direct violation of the natural order was the inevitable forfeiture of all that one holds dear.
Unable to confide in anyone, he was once again seeking a final resting place.
