Profile

Shin'en is an entity of the higher planes, a realm of which few are aware. He dwells there in the form of a concept--an idea.

He is bound to Mutoh in a solemn pact of mutual love.

Shin'en had no interest in the lower planes until the staggering power of Animata came to his attention. Fascinated by the cycle of creation and destruction surrounding the technological life form, he decided to venture outside the higher planes for a closer look.

Because he is essentially an idea, Shin'en is adept at slipping into the nethermost regions of consciousness and manipulating creatures from within.

Wreaking internal havoc is thus his special brand of destruction. He delights in it, for in his view there is nothing so exquisite as the spectacle of a healthy system breaking down from the inside.

While Shin'en views creatures of the lower planes with disdain, he finds them rather intriguing after witnessing a demonstration of their life energy, so different from that of his own kind.

He now follows your party with interest--the sort of interest one might show in a newly acquired plaything.
