Sha'plar is a lizardwoman whose skin has turned purple from prolonged contact with miasma.
Miasma permeated her food, her bathwater, and the air she breathed. After a time, her body managed to conquer and coexist with it.
The hands of any who dare touch her rot away. Anyone who inhales her breath suffers nerve damage.
The blade she wields, however, is immune to her touch.
A deity dwells within this ancient, mystical weapon. The sentient blade absorbs Sha'plar's miasma and serves as a catalyst, further amplifying her dark powers. She is now a living weapon of mass destruction. Acknowledged among the lizardfolk as a master of the most difficult and potent black arts, she's come to be called a witch.
The BlackThe lizardfolk are unacquainted with the concept of light and dark and don't associate them with good or evil. They have thus come to revere Sha'plar almost as a deity in her own right.
Sha'plar has introduced a new and diabolical tactic: She uses a device to disperse the miasmas she exudes and then makes it pour down like rain.Since anything this fiendish attack touches withers away, she protects her allies by giving them a serum refined from her own body fluids.
Sha'plar knew that people were calling her the goddess of death behind her back.
Perhaps that is why Zeera's Green Thumb--the power to nurture life--looked so wonderful to her, and why she was a little jealous of it.
But failing to suppress these growing emotions, she ended up purposely withering one of Zeera's plants. But Zeera forgave her.
"Even when a life is spent," Zeera said, "it is not gone. That is not the end. The withered flower that fell to the ground shall return to Mother Nature as nutrients for other things that live."
Sha'plar remained silent, listening to Zeera's kind words.
"Though you took a life by your own hand, Sha'plar, that is not its end. Where a life is lost, so, too, may a life be saved."That was when Sha'plar's dark, miasmic heart was finally saved.
- Sha'plar (Japanese: シャップラー Shappurā)
- Profile interaction with Zerro
- The weapon that she wields in Jobs 1 and 3 is a Miasma Blade.
- Oddly enough, the blade is never seen in the scabbard at her waist, even when she isn't wielding it (such as in Job 2).
