Profile[]
Peyrna the Ashen
Peyrna is a stonefolk girl who wields swords and gravity with equal prowess.
She was left alone in the world at a very young age.
A man found her and took her under his wing. This unlikely guardian had lost even his name, for the world denied his very existence.
Peyrna flourished under his care, wanting for nothing--or so it would be nice to believe.
But the reality was that the man had neither knowledge nor experience in raising a child. He hardly knew what to feed her, much less how to educate her.

Moreover, he never made the slightest effort to remedy this. Peyrna thus found herself struggling desperately to get by on her own.
She gradually learned how to fend for herself through a mounting hunger to survive and tireless trial and error. Her cooking is now first-rate.

Peyrna is still a child with childish impulses, however. One day, she decided to test her foster father on a whim.
He hardly looked after her. He never uttered a word of affection. He was clueless even about her sleeping and waking hours.
All things considered, she may have been fed up with him.
Above all else, though, Peyrna felt an emptiness. And for all her hard-earned ability to fend for herself, this was a void she couldn't fill on her own.
So she tested him, in an unconscious attempt to mend it. The outcome was disastrous.
Peyrna had yearned for affection. She got her wish, but the price was steep.
Every night without fail, he had stroked her tousled hair as she slept, warm hands quietly offering security and comfort.
That warmth was now gone.Trivia[]
