Profile[]
Officially, Olber is a member of the royal guard. In reality, he belongs to an elite strike force.
Because his duties are highly confidential, he can divulge little and must bear a great deal alone.
Personnel turnover is extremely high, partly due to such demands of the job. Humans don't bear loneliness well.
Olber alone continues to serve regardless, outlasting all the others. He too has suffered loss, however.
His family life was uncommonly blessed. His love for his wife and child was unfailing, and their support for him was equally unflagging.
He went so far as to declare that loneliness is merely a self-imposed illusion.
But he misjudged how deep the darkness could be.
He never imagined that the family he should protect should one day fall victim to malice.
