The Blitzer
O'pari is a lizardman warrior clad in several layers of heavy armor. While lizardfolk are known for their tough skin, his armor elevates that natural defense into a class of its own. What's more, countless miniature crossbows are mounted on his armor to complement the colossal crossbow he carries, effectively transforming him into a one-man artillery unit.
The Battering Ram
However, he has another weapon at his disposal that must not be forgotten. It is a simple yet devastating body slam that capitalizes on the weight of his heavily armored body. Foes foolish enough to approach him after he's spent all his crossbow bolts are promptly crushed to death. One can guess the sheer speed of his charge from the sonic boom it generates.
The Firestorm
He can fire volleys of thousands of bolts per second, easily dominating any battlefield. The flaming arrows he unleashes paint the dark sky in blazing red and orange hues. Though a fearsome sight to foes, his friends refer to them fondly as "O'pari's Shooting Stars."
After Chapter 16
O'pari was gazing up at the starry sky from a room within the starship Animata.
"To think I'd ever see the heavens this close up..."
To him, it seemed like he could almost reach out and touch the stars. The deep darkness of the universe seemed to be gradually drawing him in, willingly or not.
"I wonder if I could make this ship that sails the heavens go where I willed it. I'd really like to see what lies beyond this sea of stars."
After Chapter 30
After crash landing on the alien planet, O'pari was largely preoccupied with an interest in the unknown.
"I never imagined that nature so similar to ours existed on other planets..."
It was then that he heard a whisper in his mind--no, in the depths of his soul. One might call it instinct itself.
"There is a place that awaits your return."
Thinking he was merely hearing things, O'pari paid no heed at the time.
