Profile[]
Nakupí is an aging stoneman who has left home behind for a life of solitude. Estranged from his family, he's said to dwell quietly at the remotest reaches of the subterranean world of the stonefolk.
He finds solace in a wondrous optical device he won gambling at a tavern long ago. It features two modes: Magic Mode and Memento Mode.
Magic Mode captures images framed by a border infused with magic. It allegedly imparts power commensurate with that magic to the image's subject.
Memento Mode, as its name implies, is designed to document scenes for posterity. But the vistas Nakupí captures on film are always dark, smoky, and barren of color.
Such is the eternally sunless realm of the stonefolk.
Nakupí hopes to document a vibrant and colorful world one day--but he is also dimly aware that his aging body is pushed nearly to the limit already.
He's started to long for friends who can share his dream.Trivia[]
