An enigmatic fellow strolled the streets asking an enigmatic question:
"Want some experience?"
Many dismissed the question with a sneer. Experience isn't the sort of thing someone can just hand out, after all.
Still, the mysterious fellow refused to give up. The world was full of people who couldn't experience things even if they wanted to. In a world brimming with so many possibilities, why couldn't everyone experience them?
It was a simple frustration, and it was he who invented a groundbreaking solution. He tried converting all the phenomena of the world into pulses. This is still a work in progress.
In the meantime, however, he's found a way to directly instill experience in others. This feat has won him widespread acclaim in a complete reversal of public attitude.
The mysterious fellow struggled over what to call his new technology. Its defining feature was creating a whole that was greater than the sum of its parts.
Had people joined him and fused their talents in a collaborative effort, who knows what they could have accomplished together?
So with a touch of irony, he named his new system "fusion."
