Profile[]
The Keeper
Lewto the stoneman is a sorcerer who keeps mini-orblings as pets. His bond with them burns fiercer than fire.
With his days numbered, he sought his final resting place until he encountered the wayfarers journeying to the heart of the planet. Their fervor has reinvigorated him and spurred him to action.
Mini-orblings generally do not take to other species, and it is said that only those with special genetic structure can coexist with them. Lewto is currently conducting research on this.
The Tamer
Lewto's body has grown well-adapted to handling fire, and it is believed that this is due to the empathy he shares with his mini-orblings.
The Master
Using brain wave detectors and a number of other instruments to analyze his connection with mini-orblings, he found that the special alpha waves he emits are evidently translated into commands inside the creatures' brains.
After Chapter 22
Stepping onto the alien planet and gazing about, Lewto thought this was a place he could grow to like--one where different species mingled and coexisted. Though its nature may have seemed bizarre by conventional standards, to him it felt ideal for his final abode. After all, to him the unnatural was natural, as evidenced by his life with mini-orblings.Trivia[]
