It's a memory of the future--
deja vu of a day yet to come.
Your vision warps and blurs, and you find yourselves at the bottom of the sea, so far beneath the waves that no light from above penetrates those inky depths.
"Enter, my lost children."
The voice is exquisite.
The moment it reaches your ears, your legs seem to take on a will of their own, propelling you forward as though guided by something...or someone.
"If we don't turn back now..."
This is the abode of the might sea serpent who supports and sustains the boundless ocean.
"Have ye courage enough to set eyes upon me?"
A voiceless voice resonates in your heads.
"O travelers of distant time..."
The voiceless voice sounds almost wistful.
"The Maker is not here."
"Even the glorious must inevitably fade. Death, too, is but a new beginning."
The great sea serpent seems to be testing you.
"Have ye courage enough to defy reason?"
Your party replies without hesitation:
"We seek the Maker, come what may."
"We are the keepers entrusted with worlds of her making--emissaries of the Maker, as it were. I am called Leviathan."
With power that surpasses even mine own, ye may well reach the Maker, she says.
Whether what awaits beyond is truly what you seek remains to be seen, however.
The fate of all life on this world hinges on the answer.
The vast seas are at times fierce and at others gentle.

- Unlike other units recruitable through battle, recruiting an additional Leviathan only results in a 3% increase in Skill Boost rather than 5%.
