The Big Mouth
As his epithet suggests, Ka'pori has an enormous mouth, which is probably why his voice is so loud and obnoxious. He spends a frightening amount of money on his nightly drinking habits--enough to single-handedly escalate the area's Engel coefficient. Worse, he never brushes his teeth, so his breath is foul beyond belief. Still, he is not without redeeming qualities.
For example, there's...um...er...hm. Well, nothing comes to mind right now, but there must be someone somewhere out there who can attest to this someday.
The Massive Mouth
When stuffing his face, he seems almost blissful. The sight of him eating with such gusto is enough to remind one that life is too short to sweat the small things.
The Insatiable
The device he wears has tempered his boorish behavior, leaving him with but one bad habit: gluttony. He is now gluttony incarnate!

One night on the alien planet...
"Arrrgh!"
Ka'pori was clutching his belly, writhing in pain.
"Stop flopping around and look here. Ah... Food poisoning. How many times has this been now?"
Rustling around in her pack, she produced some sort of medicine, which she proceeded to stuff into his mouth.
"How many times have I told you, Ka'pori? We know nothing of the plant life on this planet nor its effects on the body--human, lizard, or otherwise."
"No, I'm telling you! I've seen that flower before! You gotta believe me! I knew it the moment I touched it! But...yowwwwwwch!"
But Amina knew that could not be possible.
No such flower ever grew on their home world.
Still, looking into his eyes, which seemed to be clinging to something--perhaps a memory of something lost, she, too, lost something--the desire to press the matter any further.
