Guardian Elga
A golem forged in a land of blistering heat and rugged rocks. It wields a weapon similar in appearance to the katana from the Far East, but how it came upon such a thing is unknown.
It meditated in the hopes that one day, like its body that stands firm against the savage blows of its enemies, its heart would grow stalwart enough to endure the lashing tides of life.

A golem forged in a land of blistering heat and rugged rocks. It wields a weapon similar in appearance to the katana from the Far East, but how it came upon such a thing is unknown.
It meditated in the hopes that one day, like its body that stands firm against the savage blows of its enemies, its heart would grow stalwart enough to endure the lashing tides of life.
However, careful meditation can only do so much to calm a body and mind that was born simmering with rage. Sooner or later, even the calmest pot boils over.
The red-hot core of its being expanded outwards as it grew hotter and hotter, increasing the golem's size but shattering the stone armor that served as its defense. Magma seeping through the cracks leaked onto the katana, fusing it to the warrior's hands and superheating the blade. Acrimony and animosity rose off of the stone body like steam, threatening to culminate in a meltdown of molten fury.
It was here that its years of training and meditation finally came to fruition. After the rage had run its course, the golem sent his consciousness into every shattered plate from head to toe, building a suit of living armor piece by piece by sheer force of will.
From then on, anger was a strength, not a weakness. Mind have overcome body.

That's not to say that it didn't enjoy the small things. In fact, it loved nothing more than to dunk itself in freezing cold water after taking a bath in scorching hot lava. The shock was invigorating: a reminder that yes, it was, in fact, alive. Some of its most profound meditation sessions were experienced as it sat submerged in such water, still as a rock as the liquid slowly but surely turned to ice.
Entire years were spent on bathing meditation, but it had time to spare. With a lifespan far longer than that of an average human, it had plenty of time to find its nirvana.Trivia[]
